A free two-day entrepreneurial training workshop is scheduled for April 17-18, 2018, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Building 145 at Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire.

The U.S. Small Business Administration offers the Boots to Business workshop as part of the Department of Defenses’ Transition Assistance Program. Since its launch in 2013, over 20,000 service members and spouses have participated in the program.

The goal of the workshop is to help participants develop the skills and knowledge base they will need in order to succeed as small business owners, as well as to connect them with small business resources in their local communities.

“I have coordinated the class for several years for the purpose of benefiting service members and their families, but especially for our wing members and families,” said Bonnie Rice, the 157th Air Refueling Wing Airmen and Family Readiness Program manager. “The class is open to all branches of the service, but hosting here at Pease allows me to ensure our Airmen and families have access to the class.”

Spouses and dependent children over 18 are welcome to participate in the training.  For more information on the event please contact Miguel.Moralez@sba.gov or 157th ARW AFRP Manager, Bonnie Rice. bonnie.l.rice.civ@mail.mil
