Inaugural Pease 7K Road Race, Walk & Kids Fly-By Published May 25, 2011 By Senior Airman Josh Stewart 157th Communications Flight Pease Air National Guard Base -- The Pease Minuteman Fund will be sponsoring the first-ever Pease 7K Road Race, Walk & Kids Fly-By on July 24, 2011. The race is organized by members of the Minuteman Fund and volunteers from the 157th Air Refueling Wing and 64th Air Refueling Squadron. Proceeds will benefit both the Minuteman Fund and the Pease Kids' Corps. The Minuteman Fund is a non-profit organization which strives to improve the morale, welfare and recreation of members of the New Hampshire Air National Guard in order to create and maintain a high morale and state of well-being for the mission completion of the New Hampshire Air National Guard. Contributions from the race will help the Minuteman Fund plan morale-boosting events to accomplish this mission. The Pease Kids' Corps is an on-base organization that provides sponsorship to children living with life-threatening diseases. Contributions from the race will coordinate "one day of fun, one lasting memory" for one of our Child Heroes.
