Chief Master Sergeant Kevin C. Reiter is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 157th Air Refueling Wing, Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire. He serves as the Wing’s Senior Enlisted Leader and as the Wing Commander’s key enlisted advisor supporting the operational effectiveness for the Air National Guard’s only KC-46 unit and its 1100 Total Force Airmen. Additionally, Chief Reiter works in concert with other senior enlisted leaders and first sergeants on matters concerning the health, welfare, morale, proper utilization, training and development for all assigned personnel.
Chief Reiter enlisted in the Air Force and graduated basic military training in March of 2003. His first assignment was Altus AFB, Oklahoma, working in the Cargo Management Section. He was then selected as a Recruiter serving in Aberdeen, South Dakota, followed by a tour at the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. Chief Reiter crossed trained into Education and Training Management and was assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. His fifth assignment was to Pease Air National Guard Base where he remained on Active Duty until 2017, when he elected to Palace Front into the New Hampshire ANG.
Chief Reiter’s service has spanned over 19 years in a variety of roles. He has served in the Traffic Management Office, as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, in the Education and Training Office, in the Aircrew Flight Equipment section and multiple Commander Support Staff’s. Additionally, he deployed in support of operation ENDURING FREEDOM as a United States Customs and Border Patrol Agent. Prior to his current position, Chief Reiter was the Command and Control Superintendent for the 157th Air Refueling Wing, Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire.
