Colonel Col. Christine Banks

Col Christine L. Banks is the Commander, 157th Maintenance Group, at Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire. She is responsible for an aircraft maintenance organization which includes the 157th Maintenance Operations Flight, the 157th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and the 157th Maintenance Squadron. The group’s mission is to provide combat ready airmen and aircraft to support the 157th Air Refueling Wing’s KC-46 Pegasus operations involving aerial refueling, airlift of cargo and passengers, and aeromedical evaluations.

Col Banks joined the Air Force in 1994 and was commissioned in 2003 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps, University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire. Upon completion of the Intelligence Officer Course, she was assigned to the Joint Space Operations Center (JSOC), 614th Space Intelligence Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, California, as Senior Intelligence Duty Officer. She joined the New Hampshire Air National Guard in 2005 and has served in various capacities throughout her guard career including Operational Intelligence Officer, Executive Officer for the Director of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander and Deputy, Maintenance Group Commander. Prior to her current position, Col Banks spent a year at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, where she attended the United States Army War College.
