Equal Opportunity The Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) office has opened a traditional, enlisted position for current members of the 157th Air Refueling Wing as well as any other qualified military members. MEO officials are looking for a motivated Airman, who has a desire to help educate members and ensure that the 157 ARW remains a safe and comfortable unit. What is MEO? Formally, the enlisted member develops equal opportunity and other related human relations education programs and enhances the Air Force mission by promoting an environment of equity, dignity and respect through positive human relations and teamwork. In addition, this position is responsible for providing advice, consultation, education, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and referral services to commanders and supervisors to help enhance mission effectiveness. According to Master Sgt. Anita Larose, MEO is a critical position and part of the mission here and ensures the safety and happiness of the members. "We are dedicated to the base and the members, we arm each squadron with the tools to remain sensitive of discrimination and harassment," said Larose, who is an EO specialist.
