157th Civil Engineering Squadron

The 157th Civil Engineer Squadron is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing all base facilities and utilities. The squadron's diverse mission includes cradle-to-grave management of all contract construction projects, community planning, fire and emergency services, accompanied and unaccompanied housing management, natural, capital and asset management, asset optimization and emergency management.

Civil Engineering has seven sections: Operations, Resources, Engineering, Environmental, Quality, Emergency Management and Fire Protection.

Operations
The Operations Branch operates, maintains, and repairs, installation real property facilities. It provides a sustaining force necessary to keep all utility infrastructures and facilities in safe operating condition while seeking renovation and improvement of systems. The Operations Branch consists of the Roads and Landscaping, Utilities, Preventive Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance Sections.

Resources
Resources manages the funding and real estate support to enable superior sustainment and exemplary service to the 157th Air Refueling Wing.

Engineering
The Engineering Branch' s mission is to provide planning, programming, design and construction management of major construction, minor construction, repair and sustainment projects. This is accomplished through a combination of in house engineering support, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and Request for Proposal Contracts.

Environmental
The Environmental Branch provides professional environmental services involving past, present and future mission activities to the Pease community. They also ensure cost-effective compliance with laws and regulations while preserving and restoring land, air, water, wildlife and cultural resources.

Quality
The Quality Branch is responsible for ensuring that CE provides outstanding service to Pease customers. This level of service is achieved through high-quality of workmanship, the professionalism of  the workforce, the timely completion of work and striving for continuous improvement. CE's goal is to meet or exceed our customers' needs in a manner which maximizes their satisfaction. The Quality Management System, program, and procedures provide guidance in performing assigned tasks, measure and monitor performance and provide for improvements in areas as needed.

Emergency Management
The 157th Civil Engineering Emergency Management (EM) Office is the program manager for the installation Emergency Management Program and response area. EM's mission is to ensure the installation is prepared to mitigate the effects of the full spectrum of threats to include major accidents, natural disasters and terrorist attack and to restore full mission capability should any of these occur.
