PEASE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, N.H. -- Past and present members of the 157th Air Refueling Wing and their dependents are invited to attend the fourth annual Pease Education Fair June 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 149.
"The Education Fair is an opportunity for members to see what some of the options are for finishing their education," said Master Sgt. Travis Allen, 157th Force Support Squadron, force development flight-formal schools
Allen added that for those member's dependents that are considering college, it's a great time to research those options further during this annual event.
The fair will feature representatives from Granite State College, Great Bay Community College, Excelsior College and others.
"Since there are requirements for earning your Community College of the Air Force degree in the Air National Guard in order to make senior NCO, and we know that you must earn your general education requirements from a civilian college, it seemed like we should present our members with options to finish their degree," said Allen. "This is a way to bring many colleges into one place so members can see their options."
The fair that has been a goal of Allen's for many years when first organized four years ago.
