McConnell Reservists play in Checkered Flag
An F-22 Raptor, assigned to the 90th Fighter Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Ala., is refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 128th Air Refueling Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, during Checkered Flag 21-1, Nov. 2, 2020. Nineteen members of the 931st Air Refueling Wing, the Reserve component at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, participated in Checkered Flag, a large-scale aerial exercise hosted by the 325th Fighter Wing at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The exercise began Nov. 2, and ended Nov. 11.
