Pease air show a soaring success
Tech. Sgt. Dylan Pratt, a crew chief with the 157th Air Refueling Wing, poses with his son Mason next to of one of Pease’s newly named KC-46 Pegasus aerial refuelers, the Spirit of Strafford, during the Thunder Over New Hampshire Air Show on Sept. 12. Hundreds of air show enthusiasts waited patiently for their turn to tour the KC-46 during the two-day event. The air show, which included demonstrations by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and F-22 Raptor Demo Team, drew approximately 40,000 participants each day at Pease Air National Guard Base. A naming ceremony for several of the KC-46 aircraft took place the morning of Sept. 12.
