New Hampshire Adjutant Gen. David Mikolaities poses with distinguished guests during the NHNG's Heritage Room ribbon-cutting ceremony held in Concord on May 20, 2022. The room was dedicated in honor of Plymouth, NH, native and Medal of Honor recipient, Capt. Harl Pease Jr., a pilot who was killed during World War II. Pease's relatives in attendance were acknowledged for a collection of military artifacts they donated for permanent display. Items included Pease's painted portrait, an encased American flag, medals and ribbons, and an olive drab flight bag inscribed with his handwritten name and initials. (Photo by Tech. Sgt.
